Manning has decided to join the college of ‘Communication and Information’ as a professor of practice from the fall of 2023. In the podcast, the co-host mentions, “He’s going to be joining in the fall semester for select classes as an expert..and the university said that he would be bringing significant industry experience to the classroom.“.

The co-host then asks Horry, “So..Alabama calls..they want you to teach a class. What class would you teach?” to which the former-NBA star chuckles and replies, “I would love to do a class where athletes can learn on how to deal with the media and the fans. A lot of the athletes don’t know how to deal with the media, they get on this high horse as if they don’t have to talk to the media…first of all, the media is what gives you your shine.“.

Despite having a very successful NBA career, the former-Lakers player may not have cashed in on showcasing his “brand” in the right way to the media. This might be the reason to why, despite being a solid NBA player with a very impressive record, he would not get any big brand endorsements during his NBA career to further cement his and his family’s financial future.

Peyton Manning really is THAT GUY!
