2024 is off to a deadly start. After spending the entirety of last year building up their brands, Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are off to a stellar start this yeae as well. While their podcast is thriving, they also have made waves in reality TV with the Real Housewives of Miami. Their next stop, however, promises to be the most exciting one yet. But, its hype has taken a rather interesting route. The latest piece of the puzzle was the most, err, puzzling one yet, with Larsa threatening to murder the youngest son of Michael Jordan.

But, it turns out, it’s all part of the strategy. Entering the murder-mystery game-show ‘The Traitors’ as a couple has primed a target on the duo’s back. However, the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen already has a plan in place to negate the odds. And it all relies on mutual respect towards the game.

With Screen Rant delving into what the challenge was like as a couple entering the game, Larsa would detail how the two were targeted. “I think us coming in as a couple, and the first couple, I think a lot of people were intimidated and I think we automatically had a target on our back. I feel like a lot of people thought we were going to unite and not go against each other,” the reality TV veteran explained.

However, they also had their priorities clear in their approach to the entire ordeal. “But we really had a conversation where we said, ‘Hey, we’re going to play ‘The Traitors’ the right way and we’re going into this as individuals,’ like, ‘I love you, but if I have to murder you, I’ll make it up to you or vice versa.'”

Marcus was in full agreement with his beau. However, their strategy was a complete shocker to everyone else.

For Marcus, it has been a constant with breaking the mold. Where most were expecting a career in basketball for the son of MJ, he has instead chosen to follow his sneaker dreams. As a result, his baby, The Trophy Room is thriving and continues to grow in stature.

But, on the show too, the couple had to break a few barriers. “I think people really thought because we were a couple we weren’t going to go against each other, and we had this whole conversation before we even got to Scotland where we said, we’re here individually. I’m so excited to be playing this game with you, but at the same time, it’s an individual game. So I think a lot of people didn’t get that.”

Even the 33-year-old had to admit that their coming in as a couple did put a target squarely on their back. However, they were able to work through those issues and deliver what promises to be a thrilling addition to their repertoire.

Remember, folks. Season 2 of The Traitors is now available on Peacock. Marcus Jordan was ‘murdered’ on the series but Larsa Pippen remains in the running.
