In a recent podcast episode of ?Point Forward (with Andre Iguodala & Evan Turner)”, Gilbert Arenas explains how the analysts did not do justice to every NBA player. Former GSW star Andre Iguodala asks Gilbert Arenas, ?Do you think people know how good you were??

Arenas thinks for a second before replying, ?No.? He then explains, ?Um?If you played against me you?d know. But from the outside looking in, you just look at the stats and glimpses of? no one really knows how good any of us are.? He then explains, ?Nobody really knows until they really in that ?lion?s cage?. That?s why I don?t like analysts because they didn?t have to guard me. They lucky they didn?t have to guard me.?

Gilbert Arenas was a defensive phenom during his playing days and made clutch defensive plays for his team. Despite making the All-NBA team three times and even winning the ‘Most Improved Player’ award once, he never got his due credit from the analysts of the game.

The former NBA All-Star Arenas explains that only the players may have the right understanding of the kind of player someone is. That is only because they played against them. Gilbert Arenas’s NBA performances?

Standing at 6?4 and weighing 215 pounds during his playing days, Gilbert Arenas was a ?tough? player with a really good sense of the game from the beginning.

He was a natural athlete, who maximized his 12-year-NBA career with an impressive 20.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game! He achieved this incredible feat from 2001 to 2014 when the league was filled with fierce NBA teams, led by legends like Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Tim Duncan among others.

Gilbert Arenas even had a whopping 60-point game in his fifth year in the league against the late Kobe Bryant?s Lakers in 2006. This just goes to show the incredible basketball ability that Gilbert Arenas possessed during his playing days.
