Speaking of overcoming all the hurdles and suggestions, Jordan said, “A lot of people didn’t feel that I could go to a division I school and do so well?my principal told me to go to Air Force Academy so that once I finish school, I got a job after school.”? He added, “And I didn’t listen to him as you can see. I just took on a challenge of going and make things happen for myself.”?

In the same interview, speaking of his college career, he said, “After that first year, I just said, well this may be something that I can roll into a dream come true, or reach some sort of those ultimate goals of being a professional athlete and things started to click.? He added, ?My abilities started to improve. In 84, I left school, after my junior season?got the exposure on the Olympic team, stepped into the professional ranks and everything started to blossom.”
