It is always an exciting thing to watch our favorite NBA stars playing on the court. They are the best at what they do. However, there is one thing that forces even the legends to lose sleep. Dwyane Wade‘s scenario is no exception to this.
Evidently, the NBA legend had the biggest fear of not being great enough at the time he was playing. In the first episode of SKWEEK SHOW by Tony Parker on YouTube, the Flash revealed his biggest fear – “I guess my biggest fear when I was playing was probably not being great enough. It always carried me because I always wanted to be better than I was.”
Dwyane Wade expressed how he feared falling down from where he was – ?”I always wanted to work hard and just be better. My fear was I’m not good enough I’m not great like I wanted to be, you know I never wanted to fall any lower than I was. I’ve always wanted to keep rising and so I had a fear that it woke me up in the middle of the nights and I go to the gym.”
“I wasn’t like you know not blessed with you know like seven one and so been six four and playing a position and not being a shooter in that position and you know all these things. I wanted to be great and so that carried me you know, it was a healthy fear that didn’t allow me to sit down and get comfortable,” -?Wade explained how he worked hard on himself to reach the level that he aimed for.

Dwyane Wade was selected by the Miami Heat with the fifth pick of the 2003 NBA draft. The very same draft also featured Hall of Famers LeBron James and Chris Bosh. Shortly after that, he became very popular among his team. His nickname ‘Flash‘ was given by his then-teammate Shaquille O’Neal.
