In a physically demanding sport like NBA, a few elbows are bound to be thrown. This makes pain a part and parcel of succeeding in the league. This is particularly true if you’re a big man like Shaquille O’Neal, who owned the most physical area of the game- the paint. This leads one to imagine that Shaq must be one strong fellow. A man who nobody could faze, let alone bring to tears. However, there is one formidable opponent that even Big Diesel had to bow out.
For Shaq, he would meet his match recently. It happened when he stood against a millionaire who has previously cooked for a 600-pound man.

Since his retirement,?Superman has put on many capes. Whether as a DJ or a businessman, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has succeeded in most of his ventures. However, he recently faced a rare 0ff-court defeat. As some would say, he won the war but lost the battle.
Who is this formidable opponent, you may ask? An onion. This time, his usual Superman cape was on the front, serving as an apron.
YouTube chef, Nick DiGiovanni and Shaq were part of a burger cook-off. Throughout the episode, the big man was at his comedic best. Whether it be sly digs at Charles Barkley or top-tier facial reactions, the 4-time Champ was entertaining as ever. Despite all this, it seems like there was one thing that he was trying to avoid at all costs. And that was coming face-to-face with an onion.
Initially, he played it off as not wanting his breath to stink, as he is, after all, a “ladies’ man“. However, when that didn’t work, he relented and went to work on the vegetable.
But, the ordeal was too much and Shaq screamed out, “You’re killing me, man.”
Even though this bout with the 300+ pound Miami Heat legend ended in hilarious heartbreak for Nick, it isn’t his first bout with a giant.

Earlier in the year, DiGiovanni took up a massive challenge. Literally.
His hurdle? Cooking for the heaviest sumo wrestler in the world, Yama. The 600-pound behemoth needed a ton of food to maintain his weight and training technique. But, the youtube sensation was up for the challenge.
From appetizers and sushi rolls to main course and dessert, the 11-million subscriber-strong Nick left the wrestler impressed. As has become the norm, no matter how insane the challenge, Nick was up for it.

Still, let’s hope that his next burger cook-off with Big Diesel goes better. This time, Shaq easily convinced the judge of his talents by growling at him. After all, not many have the courage to criticize the 7-footer to his face.
