Jim Carrey has been open about his battle with depression. Recently, an old video clip of Carrey talking about manifestation is doing the rounds on social media. The clip was from an interview that was shot after the superstar’s blockbuster The Mask. The movie was released in 1994 and was a massive hit with a worldwide box office of $351 million. In the resurfaced video clip, Carrey reveals how he manifested becoming an actor.

Carrey said, “Sit on the side of the road, look out at the lights, and go, ‘I’m a popular actor. Every director wants to work with me.’ And I used to think, open my arms, and imagine things, things that I wanted coming my way. I would stay up there until I actually believed that I had all these things. And I would drive down the mountain feeling like the biggest star in Hollywood.”

He also stated that he wrote a check for $10 million to himself and kept it in his wallet for years. The star revealed that he earned $10 million for The Mask. Apparently, Kevin Garnett was inspired by the clip.
