The Boston Celtics made a huge splash in 2007 by trading for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. With Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett leading the charge, the Celtics won their 17th championship in franchise history that season. While the team has struggled to get back to the promised land since then, it looks like the time has finally arrived for the Celtics, as they are repeating history from their championship days.

With Jayson Tatum leading his team, the Boston Celtics have gotten off to a great start to their season and have now matched a record from the 2007-08 championship team.

The Celtics are extremely good. They are so good that the Celtics have yet to lose a game on their home court this season. The Celtics are currently the only team in the NBA to have an undefeated record at home and are currently 12-0 after their recent win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Apart from the dominance the team has shown so far, what is more exciting is that the last time the Celtics went 12-0 on the home court to start a season was back in the 2007–08 season. And as everyone remembers, the Celtics went on to win their 17th championship in franchise history that year.

In 2007–08, the Celtics went 66-16 in the regular season with a 35-6 record at home. With Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen on the team, the Celtics won the championship that season.

The Celtics are currently first in the Eastern Conference with an 18-5 record. With the way Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are playing, they would be hoping to bring another banner to the TD Garden, that too in record breaking fashion.

The most consecutive home wins to start off a season for the Celtics is 17, which was set back in the 1957–58 season. This would be next in line for the current Celtics to take over. But the record for the most consecutive wins at home for the Celtics is 32, which occurred in 1985–86 when the Celtics went on to become the eventual champions.
