LeBron James and the Lakers stunned the Suns after rallying back from down 7 at the start of the fourth. It was not only the Lakers’ second consecutive win against the Suns this season, but it was also their first In-Season tournament win. However, they didn’t start the game well with Kevin Durant going off, a common trend with LA this year and 3x All-Star Gilbert Arenas had to chime in.

With the Lakers’ neighbors, the LA Clippers, down a stunning 22 points at the half against the Dallas Mavericks, it wasn’t turning out to be a fruitful day for the two California teams. Arenas shared a tweet that said, “these women having a mid off,” while referring to the two LA teams.

However, once the game was done, Arenas had to backtrack. But he didn’t just do it humbly. The former Washington Wizards star?reshared the post and wrote, “had to troll the Lakers to a win ur welcome!”?The case with the Clippers was different, though. They were blown away by Luka Doncic’s exhibition as the Mavs steamrolled them 144-126.

Detailing his role in their victory, he hilariously claimed that the Lakers wouldn’t have won if he hadn’t stoked their competitive fire with some playful roasting.

Whatever Gilbert’s opinion is, James was undeniably phenomenal during the entire game. Despite a slow start marked by subpar shooting and a shortage of defensive stops, the Lakers secured a big victory.

Gilbert Arenas continues to have faith in LeBron James

The King is still magnificent in his 21st year in the league. He took the charge, delivering an impressive performance to lead the team. While Austin Reeves’ mid-range jumpers kept the game going, Anthony Davis contributed 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. Nonetheless, James continued to carry the team. This came just days after he refuted claims about his success getting attributed solely to the Miami Heat.

Taking to X, James shared that he would have still dominated regardless of his Heat move. He wrote, ?You damn right I would still be! I?m CHOSEN! Ain?t nothing changing that! Maybe less (ring emoji referring to the championship) but DOMINANT from start to finish.?
