TNT analyst and NBA great Charles Barkley got involved in more mishaps on live TV. The basketball legend gets a lot of praise for his enlightening advice on Inside the NBA. But his mistakes on Thursday are getting berated by the netizens. After Clemson clinched a stunning 77-72 win over the Wildcats, Chuck went on to give a shoutout to ACC’s Tigers and coach Dabo Swinney.

Yes, he might have mixed up the names again! The Philadelphia 76ers legend usually has his friends and colleagues’ steadfast support. However, the TNT crew didn’t correct his mistake this time elevating the confusion on social media. But that wasn’t it.

During the half-time show of the North Carolina Tar Heels vs Alabama Crimson Tide matchup, the Chuckster seemed pretty confident about the Tar Heels winning. However, it proved to be another one of Barkley’s jinx moments as Alabama stunningly upset the #1 seed. And users had already warned about it at halftime.

One user wrote, “Charles Barkley@ half-time discussing 3 point stats UNC vs Alabama: “Alabama is not winning. Not only are they not winning, they’re losing.” Kenny Smith snickers 😆 FYI Barkley getting paid 10m/year. #GeniusIQ #BarkleyBrilliance.”

This doesn’t seem to be a surprise. He is known for dishing out his unfiltered opinion. The legend didn’t hesitate to express that he doesn’t wish to be like “other a****les” on TV during an episode of Inside the NBA. It’s usual for him to butcher players’ names during live TV broadcasts. He is the same person who named Jayson Taylor instead of Jayson Tatum while praising him and might look for an escape if you ask him to pronounce ‘Giannis Antetokounmpo.’ This time, he was confused about two people.

Fans ruthlessly troll Charles Barkley for his hilarious live TV mistakes

Another fan called out Barkley for messing up with the names again and congratulating Clemson’s football team’s coach instead of Brownell. “Nah. If you know Charles, you know his mouth moves faster than his mind…dude always says something out of hand. Like calling out Dabo instead Coach Brownell!” the user wrote.

While one of the fans compared him with ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith for his jinx comment and wrote, “Lol – Who is better at the reverse jinx: Charles Barkley or Stephen A Smith,” another X user suggested the legend to learn more about about the NCAA Division and wrote, “I’m not sure if Charles Barkley needs an ACC rundown or Geography course.”

This particular X follower was frustrated by Barkley’s comments during the half-time show and called out AT&T. The comment suggested that they should stop with these “comedic sketches” and have Barkley’s genuine opinion which will also potentially be more humorous.
