Talk about the dark side of the moon. Gabrielle Union is not afraid to make her loyalties known in a very volatile debate. That is, of course, Samsung vs. Apple. Dwyane Wade’s wife is squarely Team Samsung. She’s ‘astronomical’ in promoting the underrated features of a Samsung phone iPhone users can try but they aren’t changing her mind.

While it’s unknown which model of phone she uses, Union shared the cinematic photographs of the moon she took on her Instagram Stories. Before anyone asks how she did that, she wrote on it, “Started here… And roll your eyes if you must Iphone users, pic taken by a @samsung.” Did any iPhones survive that burn?

In case you need more proof of how handy a Samsung phone is in the hands of The Perfect Find star, she shared one more lunar shot. “And here,” she wrote with moon and eyeball emojis.

Union is a commercial goddess who headlined memorable campaigns. Recently, she starred in Sleep Number’s ‘Sleep Next Level’ campaign with her husband, D-Wade. They also showed their competitive sides in Gatorade’s 2020 campaign. At this point, Samsung has a ready spokesperson in Gabrielle Union. With an ambassador like this, imagine how much further Samsung’s $368.27 billion value could go.

The moon is the favorite subject when Union is in photography mode. Around Halloween 2023, she shared her pictures of the moon on her Stories too. And she once again hyped her trusty phone. “Y’all hate on my Samsung but the photos. The picture quality.” It is quality indeed. She followed it with a zoomed-in close-up shot that was neither grainy nor shaky. And she has been at it for years, as this Insta post suggests.

Samsung hasn’t always had the best luck with its star endorsers. Like Ellen DeGeneres taking the viral Oscars snap on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and getting caught tweeting it from her iPhone. Or the most famous Samsung ambassador, LeBron James, complaining about his Samsung phone on Twitter (now X) and gifting Apple Watches to his teammates.

They could use an in-your-face ambassador like Gabrielle Union. She’s been effortlessly stunning at Burberry’s 2024 show in London while The Flash is being the perfect spokesmodel for Versace. At this point, Gab needs to dish on her phone model and some nifty photography tips. Samsung, you know who to call.
