While Shaquille O’Neal is someone with great leadership qualities, is he capable of running for the President? Well, when asked himself, the Los Angeles Lakers legend was not very confident. Rather uninterested. However, that was six years ago. Two Presidents have changed since then and so have Shaq’s desires. With just over a year to go for the next Presidential elections, the 51-year-old took to Instagram to ask a hard-hitting question to his 32.6 million followers.
Interestingly, just days ago, O’Neal’s ex-wife Shaunie gave her best first lady impression during an outing. Is something brewing in the O’Neal household?

It’s been over a decade since Shaq and Shaunie parted ways and the latter has started a fresh chapter with a second marriage. As she resumes to live her life to the fullest, a sudden Instagram post from Shaunie caught the attention of many.
Dressed all white, with a white hat, heels, and a bag, Shaunie shared a few pictures and added, “This is how my First Lady used to dress when I was growing up.” That was indeed out of the box. Well, Shaq had a similar idea.

The LA legend shared a new post on his Instagram with a shirt revealing, “2024 SHAQ FOR PRESIDENT”. Shaq added in the captions, “Would you vote for me?” Now, this is surprising for several reasons and also led to a few questions from the fans. Is the 4x NBA champion joking or is he serious?

We will only know when things get real and official. However, Shaq had a different tone when he was asked about running for President ahead of the 2017 elections.

Jimmy Kimmel shared a hot take with Shaq in front of him. “I was thinking about this today and I was looking at the news and Donald Trump was at the news. And I was thinking, if you ran for President, I think you honestly, I’m not joking, I think you have a really good shot.“
As the claps and cheers got louder, Shaq started to blush and smile. However, O’Neal felt being a President was “too much work” and “too intense” for him. Seven years later, the tables seemed to have turned.
