He asserted, “If they’re trying to win a championship and they haven’t made the playoffs in 15 to 20 years… Come on man!”
To justify his point, McGrady said, “Every organization is not trying to win a championship in the NBA.”?

He pointed out that several teams have consistently failed to compete or make the playoffs for extended periods, raising questions about their true ambitions.
According to the 44-year-old NBA star, if these organizations were genuinely committed to winning a championship, they would need to make significant changes and overhaul their decision-making processes.
The Houston Rockets legend added, “This is like they own an NBA team, it’s just a hobby game for them they made money somewhere else...”
