Former No.1 Draft Pick Reveals How Wife?s OnlyFans ?Tarnished? 16-Year NBA Career

It’s been a mere four days since Joe Smith’s viral video. A clip surfaced on the internet where the NBA veteran is seen arguing with his wife over her OnlyFans account. Since that video, Smith has been in the news and it’s not for his 16-year-long NBA career but for the said clip.

Recently, the 48-year-old broke his silence on the OnlyFans saga of his wife. After explaining how the revelation came as a surprise to him, the NBA veteran also unveiled that everything that has been going on will only harm his legacy.

An athlete builds their legacy over the course of their career through their game and the image they have in public. Although Smith never had a stellar career in terms of his resume, he sure was known for better than this. In the 1995 draft, he was the first overall pick in the first round by the Golden State Warriors. After that, he went on to represent several franchises over the 16 years that he was an active athlete. However, following the recent events, Smith feels that everything that he had worked for in his life is being washed down the drain.

Recently, the 48-year-old was on The Morning Hustle podcast where he opened up about the incident. When asked about how he feels about everything that has been going on, Smith said that this is the opposite of what he is as a person. He claimed to be a very reserved person with a high value on privacy. However, with the viral clip and the argument involved, Smith’s life has been put under scrutiny by everyone. He was asked by the host if he believes this will end up tarnishing his legacy, Smith said “Yeah, because I did a lot to build my image”.

Smith and Chavis have been together for some time now, however, the NBA veteran claims that he had no idea about her OnlyFans page. As per Smith, his reaction to the revelation that’s caught on camera is genuine because he wasn’t aware. Additionally, the NBA veteran said that his being one of the last people to find out about this was like adding insult to injury.
