The young and talented Austin Reaves recently put out a list on his Instagram handle where he ranked some of the best shooting guards in NBA history. According to him, Jordan remained the best SG of all time, followed by notable dignitaries such as Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, James Harden, and Brandon Roy.

The mention of Roy turned into a topic of debate soon. While no one claimed otherwise, many were split between his actual position on the court and whether he was a shooting guard after all.

Reaves was called out publicly for his selection of Roy by a certain former NBA star who has a poor reputation for getting knocked out by YouTube star Jake Paul and getting beaten up by Shaquille O’Neal.

Former Knicks player Nate Robinson minced no words when reacting to Reaves’ list. He commented, “Roy was a PG,” to express his opinion on the debate.

One might assume that Reaves, who is himself a shooting guard, will not make the mistake of identifying his trade. It’ll be interesting to see if Reaves reacts to Robinson in the near future.

While a reaction is awaited, Robinson’s past exchanges with celebrity athletes have been sour. He has been embarrassed in front of a live audience twice, which comprised getting hit by Shaquille O’Neal and Jake Paul.

Nate Robinson’s popular showdowns

Apart from being a star basketball player, Nate Robinson also knew how to throw a jab. He famously took on popular YouTuber Jake Paul in the ring, but the fight did not end well for him as he got brutally knocked out cold. No one would have thought that Jake would put Robinson to sleep.

The former Knicks star also took on the seven-foot giant Shaquille O’Neal. Robinson made Shaq angry when he dunked on him back in their playing days. Things did not go well for Nate after that.

One has to respect Nate’s ability to not back down from a fistfight, but it would make sense if he picks an opponent of his own size. Back to Reaves’ opinions; Do you agree with the Los Angeles Lakers’ picks? Let us know in the comments below.
