Dwyane Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union opened on how LeBron James helped his teammates and her husband in levelling up his diet game.

Union was recently in a conversation with Nina Westbrook, wife of 2017 NBA MVP, Russell Westbrook. On her podcast The Relationship Chronicles With Nina Westbrook, Gab talked about her life and getting married to a massive basketball star. She also gave away the diet secrets of her husband, Dwyane Wade and how LeBron helped him with the same.

Gabrielle made it clear that before the arrival of LeBron in Miami Wade was not a fan of counting calories. Union said, “LeBron changed how he ate. That man never had a salad. That’s not an exaggeration. That was what 2010. Hasn’t had a salad. Didn’t like green stuff.”?

LeBron James helped Wade follow a rather strict diet regimen which absolutely helped his game. The duo won two championship titles during their time together in the league.

Wade rightfully acquired his place in the Naismith Memorial amongst the basketball greats recently. Fans criticized LeBron for his absence from the Hall of Fame ceremony of Dwyane Wade.

LeBron faces backlash from Wade fans

On the 12th of August when Wade got inducted into the Hall of Fame many expected LeBron to be there for Dwyane.

To everyone’s surprise James was not in attendance. A caller on the Stephen A. show asked the host what does he thinks of LeBron’s absence from the ceremony. Smith made it clear that he was shocked to see LeBron James not present on the occasion.

Smith elaborated that Wade took care of LeBron during their time together at the Heat and Wade never let LeBron do anything alone. It’ll be interesting to see what LeBron has to say on the matter.
