Forget the clutch shots and buzzer-beaters, Reggie Miller is making headlines for a whole other sport. After 18 NBA seasons and an age of 58, one would usually want to give things a rest, but not Miller. The ex-Indiana Pacers icon has made a much-awaited debut in competitive Mountain Biking. He shared the news of his first Enduro race with fans and followers on his social media handle.
“WOW WOW WOW!! So most of you know from my race schedule that I signed up to for my FIRST Enduro race. And boy it didn’t disappoint!!”, he wrote as the caption of the post. He also mentioned that it was a 4-stage Enduro race, that he completed. Reggie not only took part in the race held as a part of the Kenda Cup but also dominated his age group. He finished in first place with impressive lap timings.
He further in his post thanked the people involved for making all of this possible for him. “There is absolutely NO WAY I’m able to do and finish this race without the help and guidance of @trevormejia @blakemastrangelo @spencerrathkamp @dweider!!!” he stated. He credited all four of his pals for putting him through Enduro Camp.

Reggie Miller is presently an NBA broadcaster and he not only making time for another sport but winning at it reflects the passion he carries for it. However, the ex-Pacers’ icon is not the only player from his community who gave another sport a chance.

As if being among the best of the best in the NBA was not satisfying enough for him, Michael Jordan had a keen interest in Golf as well. So much so that he had once expressed his desire to at least try for a Gold Tour once basketball was over for him. “I just love the game. I try to play or hit balls every day in the summertime,” he stated in an interview with Skratch. However, unlike Jordan and Reggie, not all the players were looking for a long commitment to a different sport. Some just wanted to give the thing a try.

Shaquille O’Neal, being a person who has tried multiple things in his life, was obviously among one of those. Shaq has made multiple appearances in pro wrestling. His most notable wrestling appearance was on WWE in 2009 and at WrestleMania 32 as an entrant in Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
