The 4x NBA champion now holds a Special Deputy badge from the Ford Bend County which symbolizes the “unity between sports legend and law enforcement”. Moreover, this badge is a recognition of Shaq’s effect on the economic growth of the county.
The sheriff also mentioned Shaq’s culinary trademark, the ‘Big Chicken’, which has helped to create more employment across the county and the nation as well. In a video shared by the police department, the Sheriff shared, “This is a man who is really tall, but his heart is even bigger. He does a lot of things, people don’t know about.”
