The stage is all set for the Oscars 2024 and Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union are ready for one of the most-awaited moment of their lives. The Miami Heat legend has been wise when it comes to making the right investments. His decision to produce a documentary is likely going to get him one of the world’s biggest honors. Wade and his wife Union made a live appearance at the Dolby Theatre ahead of the Oscars and even on an occasion like this, he did not fail to promote his collaboration with a world-famous $2.12 billion brand. 

Versace, a highly reputed fashion brand, styled Wade for the carpet. The 3x NBA champion majorly promotes the eyewear of Versace, but of late, stunning outfits have become a part of the mix too. While Hollywood star Gabrielle Union decided to wear an eye-catching silver outfit by Carolina Herrera, D-Wade decided to remain true to his collaboration with Versace. He wore a classy white coat with a pinch of black to its edges and black pants to take the red carpet with immense pride. The power couple are all set to know the final results of their production, which might soon add another accolade to their bag. 

When the Oscar nominations were released in January of this year, NBA buffs were surprised to see Wade’s name on the list. The 42-year-old got a nomination for the social documentary short film, ‘The Barber of Little Rock’, which is a 35-minute masterclass produced by him. After Kobe Bryant‘s Oscar nomination broke new ground in 2018, Wade is the only former NBA player to receive this honor. Well, the Black Mamba managed to bag the Oscars, can Wade do it too?

Versace has trusted Dwyane Wade with their $2.12 billion brand. With the fandom he holds, it is only the right choice, and now they are ready to work with him on a lot more campaigns. 

Versace taps in Dwyane Wade to promote their dashing eyewear collection

In late January, the Italian fashion brand revealed it will be roping in the 2006 Finals MVP for its eyewear campaign which varies from coolers to formal eyewear. Versace also released a few pictures of Wade sporting the classy glasses for their brand. Three new styles were revealed as a part of Men’s wear. A silver chrome frame, a tortoiseshell square frame, and blue-black specs. As per reports, these are sold around a price range of $364 to $441.

Wade was proud of this collaboration, although he was a bit hesitant at first. It was not a famous area for him, but the excitement was enough for him to take it up. He said, “I was just excited to be on billboards and have a campaign with Versace. I wasn’t thinking about how it was going to change how men shopped or what they went out and bought.” Well, the successful collaboration has a great scope and a bigger responsibility now.
