The two basketball legends are all smiles as Dwyane Wade posts the story tagging Iverson?s Instagram handle. The Miami Heat legend has never shied away from confessing his admiration for the 2001 MVP. He has always put the 76ers legend on a pedestal that very few other NBA greats are a part of.

Both the legendary point guards had one thing in common: their play style. They both were not afraid of driving to the rim and finishing with contact despite being smaller guys in size. That made them truly endearing to NBA fans.

Allen Iverson also must have immense respect and love for Dwyane Wade. The Miami Heat legend was able to take on the role of the ?fierce? point guard after Allen Iverson. By the time Iverson retired from the NBA in 2013, Dwyane Wade was already a three-time NBA champion. Before being presented with the highest basketball honor by Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade was in for a wholesome surprise on the Hall of Fame night.?Allen Iverson showed up at the Hall of Fame induction event in a slick black suit with ?Wade? written on the back along with Wade?s Miami Heat jersey number ?3?.

Wade has talked about how he wore the number 3 on his jersey because it was Allen Iverson?s jersey number. After the incredible Hall of Fame moment, Dwyane Wade took to his social media again to gush over Allen Iverson?s loving gesture towards him.
