Being flashy and unapologetic has always been Dwyane Wade‘s mantra. His wife Gabrielle Union matches him in that aspect. Recently the couple was seen at the Red-Carpet event at the Oscars. Though Wade didn’t win an award for his debut short film, he didn’t return empty-handed.
The Hollywood Reporter and Launchmetrics formed a partnership to conduct power rankings. The Media Impact Value (MIV) algorithm was created to judge five categories: accessories, jewelry, women’s wear, menswear, and watches. Wade and Union who looked like an IT couple, proved their worth according to MIV.

The title ‘Top 5 Men on the Red Carpet,’ revealed Ryan Gosling and Gucci at $3 Million MIV. Interestingly Dwyane Wade is 4th on the list with his collaboration with Versace at $1.2 Million MIV, beating the 2X Grammy award winner Bradley Cooper and Louis Vuitton. Even though Wade has spent the majority of his career on the basketball court, he now seems to have established himself among the A-listers. But the IT couple hasn’t forgotten about their roots even during their latest achievements.

Dwyane Wade’s charity through The Wade Family Foundation
The foundation’s aim always has been to give more opportunities to people from disadvantageous backgrounds, and helping in the fight against racial or LGBTQ injustice. The couple are proud parents of a transgender child, so they know the surrounding issues and are willing to help everybody. Union and Wade also started Proudly, a baby care company to offer products at an affordable price range. The company also helps in the foster care of children. The company’s main motto is not built around celebrities but around communities. Proudly has donated more than 30,000 diapers to Miami Diaper Bank, which helps medical professionals.
They created a grant through her haircare company, Flawless, which awards Black female entrepreneurs $25,000 each to establish their own business.
So, Dwyane Wade is seen maximizing his influence after his retirement to not only build brands but build his legacy, in such a way that leaves a positive impact not only on his children but the entire community.
