Then there is Dennis Rodman, who’s not afraid to be his unapologetic self. He has been involved in a number of controversies over the course of his life and career. While he remained in peak physical condition throughout his career, his off-court antics may have led to Rodman having an alarming health scare.

Rodman had the honor of being part of two iconic teams, namely the ‘Bad Boy’ Detroit Pistons and the 3-peat Chicago Bulls. Rodman played an integral role in all five of his championships. One might assume an elite athlete who’s taken care of his physique for the majority of his career might not have to do rounds of hospitals later in his life, but that was not the case with The Worm.

Dennis Rodman rarely had to deal with injuries throughout his career. If he didn’t suit up for a game, it was highly likely that it was due to a suspension rather than an injury. But now, the 62-year-old had to take a trip to the hospital, as revealed by a video posted by ‘Dennis Rodman Yella Yella’ on YouTube, a page started by Rodman’s girlfriend, Yella Yella.

Rodman said, “I thought I had some issues.” The 5x NBA champion claimed that he had some serious issues but in the end, it was all a false alarm. He was spotted with his partner enjoying a dessert after, as they were happy with the positive news. His partner said, “Great news. Good health.”

Rodman is one of the most colorful personalities in the sporting world. He has never failed to grab the attention of the fans and people around him. A former basketball star gave us an interesting insight into Rodman’s personality sometime back.

Bryan Scott gave us an interesting insight

During his playing days, Rodman was involved in a number of controversies. While he has been vehemently criticized by millions of people around the world, he found support in the form of a former Los Angeles Lakers star. Byron Scott was an integral part of the ‘Showtime Lakers’ in the 80s. He had first-hand experience of going up against the Worm. But unlike others, he showered praise on Rodman.

He said, “Dennis is an extremely intelligent person. Marrying himself, doing the sh*t with Madonna, all that sh*t, people were like ‘Oh, that boy crazy!’ No, Dennis wasn’t crazy. Dennis is very smart. I sit there & talked to Dennis for 2 hours while we signing sh*t and I was like, this boy ain’t crazy! This boy is smart as hell!”
