Corey Benjamin is a former basketball player who devoted five years of his career to the NBA. Out of those five, Corey played three of them for the Chicago Bulls, serving in the guard position. The team picked Benjamin with the 28th pick in the 1998 NBA Draft.

Corey would go on to make a big mistake after he told his teammate, Randy Brown, that he could beat Jordan if they ever met for a one-on-one game. It didn?t take long for Brown to spread Corey?s remarks, which eventually reached the ears of Air Jordan himself.

During a practice session on November 1999, Michael dropped by. At that point, His Airness had retired for a second time only a few months prior. Seeing Jordan in sweats and a cut-off sleeves top, the rest of the players knew that he was here to play.

Jordan turned to Corey and said, ?You?ve got a fu***ng opportunity now.? And just like that, the game commenced.

As they played, the then-36-year-old kept on mocking his opponent and playing mindgames. ?Look around you man?, and ?What you see when you see around you?? were just some of the phrases that Jordan was using.

In the end, Jordan overpowered his opponent and accumulated a score of 11-9, setting a humiliating defeat. His departing words to Corey were, ?Sit down. Don?t call me out of retirement for this sh*t again.?
