Shaquille O’Neal has had a busy couple of months. From stepping into a management role at Reebok to getting back on track with Inside the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has had his hands full. So when he finally received the chance to take a break, he went to his safe spot. He has often talked about how the Bahamas is the place that he uses as an escape to get away from all the stress.

As it is Thanksgiving, Shaquille O’Neal was also accompanied by his kids on a mini vacation to the Bahamas, and the O’Neal family is having a blast.

Shaquille O’Neal is not at his home for this year’s Thanksgiving. But the O’Neal family has gathered in the Bahamas, and Shaq is enjoying some quality time with his kids. The family reached the Bahamas on Shaq’s own plane, and his eldest daughter Taahirah O’Neal, along with his son Shareef O’Neal, have been sharing snippets from their family gathering while also showing Shaq enjoying life albeit with some comical mishaps.

In a video shared on her Instagram story by Taahirah, Shaq can be seen walking towards their house and suddenly tripping and falling as he reaches the doorsteps. More videos show Shaq walking with his kids at night. And without question, there was a basketball hoop where they stayed. Both Shaq and Shareef also had a shooting competition at three in the morning.

Shaq has always said that for him, a vacation includes the beach and the sand. He likes swimming in the sea and spending time with his kids and thus the Bahamas has always been one of his go-to places. But does he love the sandy escapades enough to purchase prime property there?

Does Shaq own a house in his constant vacation spot?

Shaq always used the Bahamas as an escape. He likes to go there to relax and get away from all the stress. According to him, it’s the perfect vacation spot. He sees it as a different world when he steps out of the hotel room and sees a clear sea and a clear sky.

It is still unclear if he owns a house in the Bahamas. There is no public record of it yet. Interestingly enough, Michael Jordan owns properties in the Bahamas. A fan once captured Jordan waving at people on a cruise from his house. But hilariously, Shaq responded to the video, saying that it was his house and not MJ’s house.
