It’s safe to say Shaquille O’Neal almost has every big star’s contact at the tip of his hands. The ‘Coyote’, a famous rap duo sat on a podcast to speak about the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s legacy as both a basketball player and a music artist. Sharing some insights into their collaboration with Big Diesel, the group had some interesting gossip to share which inevitably involved Charles Barkley as well. However, the highlight of the podcast was their Facetime with the 51-year-old which proved his close ties with the rappers. 

The 10-year-old music duo shared an insight into Shaq’s work in their collaboration. Looks like Shaq is a legend off the court as well, especially in rap.

Shaq has done most of his collaborations with lesser-known artists. One of them is the Coyote. The rap group joined forces with Big Diesel a month ago to release the, ‘3 lokos’, which has 1.5 million views already. They decided to speak about Shaq’s work in their process with him.  After a few hours in the podcast, one of the rappers termed Shaq to be his “homie”.

Doubting the close ties, the interviewer suggested the Coyote Facetime Shaq. Well, to their surprise, the 4-time champion decided to pick up the call which the rapper flexed. 

 

The famous rapper was a bit guilty before his call, “I feel like I am disturbing Shaq”.

In the meanwhile, the other Coyote took a sudden hit at a Philadelphia 76ers legend, “Play that ‘no rings’ man, dissed Charles Barkley on that b****”.

Anyhow before that song could be played, DJ Diesel answered the call. Shaq with a huge chain interacted with the live chat as well! 

The Coyote speaks about the legacy of Shaq

Shaq is probably the most respected NBA player in the music industry. The 10-year-old rap group spoke about Shaq’s platinum record as one of them went, “Only basketball player to go platinum.”

Notably, O’Neal’s debut album ‘Shaq Diesel’ sold over a million copies. The 1993 release makes him the most distinguished NBA legend in the rap game. The Coyotes resonated with this sentiment.

They added, “Shaq got all the accolades, Shaq a living legend. He bigger than life…His presence is huge.”
