?Whatever team you put against, when it?s the last two minutes, I believe that Michael (Jordan) will take over,? said Parker during the interview. ?Whatever happens, whatever the scenario is, he will take over.?

The 41-year-old is not alone in having this opinion, as many fans consider the 1995-96 Bulls roster to be the greatest in NBA history. It was even named in the top 10 list as the NBA celebrated its 50 anniversary that year. With 72 wins and 10 losses, the Bulls created a record for most wins in a season, which has since been bettered by the Golden State Warriors. However, Parker’s love for MJ and the Bulls extend way past that.

Tony Parker?s shout-out for the Chicago Bulls comes barely a month after he made a confession regarding MJ. Back in 2018, Parker ended his 17-year-long journey with the Spurs and joined the Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets. Even though he signed a two-year contract with the team, he opted out by officially retiring from the NBA the next year.

During an interview with ESPN, Parker was asked whether the reason he left San Antonio was so that he could get a perspective on what his coveted team looked like from the outside. The 4x NBA champion denied this, stating that the only reason for undertaking this action was to spend time with the then Charlotte Hornets owner.

?I did it because I wanted to spend time with my idol,? said Parker during the interview. ?It was awesome to spend some time with Michael Jordan.?
