Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero recently started their podcast called 7 PM in Brooklyn. To promote their show, the duo recently made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. During the show, Meyers brought out old tweets of Mero’s where he was talking about Carmelo Anthony. Being a die-hard fan of the New York Knicks, Mero once said that he would stop watching basketball entirely if Melo signed with the Brooklyn Nets instead of the Knicks.

At the time, Mero was worried if he would come to the Knicks, as Carmelo was born in Brooklyn. Although Carmelo signed with the Knicks, he left the team a few years later.

So Seth Meyers said, “You might be the first person that needs a restraining order against your own podcast co-host”, since Melo eventually left the Knicks. To this, Carmelo Anthony replied, “At least… he is on my side now so we good. We teammates.

Melo is happy to be doing the show with his friend Mero. Mero has also accepted reality and even agreed for the show to be named after Brooklyn, even though he is from the Bronx.
