The Chicago Bulls of the 1990s are often considered the greatest franchise in the history of the sport of basketball. It’s a well-known fact that the side was led by Michael Jordan as he won five MVP accolades and six finals MVP accolades while winning the team six championship titles. A certain NBA Hall of Famer was recently spotted expressing his disagreement with MJ’s former teammate on his infamous Scottie Pippen claim.
Scottie Pippen is often considered the greatest defender of all time and rightly so. But one will concede that it was Jordan who was ruling the roost at the Chicago Bulls. But a certain Bulls veteran made a weird claim which did not go down well with the Chicago faithful.

Dominique Wilkins was an absolute menace on the basketball court. He even faced the feared Chicago Bulls side that went on to win six NBA championship titles. Wilkins is definitely in a spot to make a comment on the team and its players. John Salley, who featured for the Bulls during its second three-peat, claimed that Scottie Pippen was a much more skilled player than Michael Jordan. But Dominique Wilkins begged to differ.
Dominique Wilkins in a conversation with VladTv was asked to comment on John Salley’s take on the more skilled player between Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. Wilkins said, “Scotty was skilled. There’s no question about that. Nobody can take Scotty’s ability away from him.”
He added, “What are you hoping to get out of this? And when we talk from a skill level,?I don’t know too many people more skilled than Mike”?The nine-times all-star made it clear irrespective of what was said by the NBA veteran, according to him Michael Jordan is still the most skilled basketball player in history of the game.

Interestingly, Dominique Wilkins previously revealed that Michael Jordan was the guy who was fun to play against due to his sheer competitiveness and his level of play.

Wilkins said, “It was fun, what I mean by that is that I was excited to play against him. Of course, the competitive level was a whole different level because we were very competitive. We wanted to kick each other?s butt there?s no question about that.”
