Shaquille O’Neal’s HOF Definition: Is it relevant?
In the latest episode of the hit podcast show “Big Shot Bob”, host and 7x NBA champion addresses the 36 YO ex-Clippers star’s Hall Of Fame eligibility. The conversation began when one of the co-hosts of the asked everyone in the room, “Do you think Lou Williams is a Hall of Famer?”.
The other co-host (not Robert Horry) gives credit to Lou Williams’ exceptional career but disagrees as he quotes Shaquille O’Neal’s Hall Of Fame definition, “It’s the Hall Of Fame, not the Hall Of Very Good”. However, the 7x NBA champion disagrees with this definition and gives clarity with a definition of his own.
He says, “It’s not about your NBA career. It’s not supposed to be. It’s supposed to be about your basketball career.”?Horry further explains, “If you don’t count the high school and college achievements, then you got to go into the Hall Of Fame and strike out half the mother*****rs in there!”.
