But the comedian revealed he did the complete opposite. In fact, this young funnyman claims he owes Shaq big time. Almost a year since he revealed he got into a trash talk showdown with the 7’1″ giant, he’s made a bigger disclosure to the story.

It also just shows Shaq’s incredible sense of humor and ability to take a joke on himself. And maybe provide some input for comedic content.

Comedian discloses Shaq’s help

The?Club 520 Podcast?welcomed the funniest phenom on social media, Bubba Dub on their show this week. He’s got a rep for talking smack about NBA pros but he’s entertaining while he’s doing it. There’s no hate in his comedy and Shaquille O’Neal recognized it.

Jerry Morgan, aka, Bubba famously disparaged Shaq’s career with the Los Angeles Lakers. But instead of denying it, O’Neal commended his comedic sense. He would directly reach out to Bubba to let him know and he’d share that story on Club 520.

“One day I?m chilling, on my phone. And I get a DM from Shaq. I?m from the south. Ain?t no motherf**king way this n*a know me. And he was like, ?Man, little bro, you telling the truth? you was telling the truth about the Lakers. They are trash!? And immediately I?m like, ?Man, f**k all that n*a, put me on one of them comedy shows n*a. I?m a comedian, I don?t give a f**k about the skit s**t.‘?

O’Neal didn’t only have a vent session about his former team with Bubba. The brains behind All-Star Comedy Jam?wanted to get Bubba Dub more gigs. He, however, couldn’t convince producers to pick him over another famous comedian.

He told the?Club 520?hosts that Shaq made up for it in a big way in 2022. When Bubba had a show in Cleveland, he wanted to find a way to the NBA All-Star Game. What better way to get into an All-Star game than to ask a 15-time All-Star himself. The conversation with Shaq was even more hilarious.

?It?s Sunday morning. I said, ?Man, what?s your ugly a** doing??” Shaq hit him back the same way, “?Your ugly a** want to go to the game??. ?Hell yeah!?. He like, ?Man, I got like four, five tickets. I?m going to send it to you?”

Shaq set him up courtside and activated Bubba’s fanboy mode. That’s not the only liberties the comedian gets with Shaq.

Shaquille O’Neal can handle trash talk

Bubba Dub came on Shaq’s?The Big Podcast?previously where they both confirmed how they became friends.

O’Neal ended his 19-season career as Boston Celtics player in 2011. His final season wasn’t the best but he was known to be a motivating presence in the locker room. Bubba however said his Celtics career was “trash” to the giant’s face.

Though he spews trash talk for laughs, Morgan was extremely grateful to Shaq for getting him into the All-Star game. He called his friend to thank him profusely for the best seats.
