Shaquille O’Neal sets up Barkley for trouble

Ever since it was launched a few days ago, Mark Zuckerberg?s Threads has gained much attention. Many people are joining and exploring Twitter?s latest rival, including Dr. Shaq himself. A few hours ago, Shaq shared a picture on the social media platform. It showed him holding a toothbrush along with a tube of ?Icy Hot? toothpaste. A sufficient quantity of toothpaste had already been applied to the brush.

During an interview with Conan O?Brien, the former Los Angeles Lakers player had revealed an unpleasant experience he had by using an ‘Icy Hot’ product. Shaq described how, whilst treating an injured leg, the team trainer had applied the gel ?a little too high?. This caused him intense discomfort after returning to the court.

Shaq misses the ‘fellas’

Shaq?s hilarious Threads post comes just a few days after the 51-year-old former athlete had shared a heartfelt post on the same platform. It contained a video featuring himself, Barkley and the other two co-hosts of TNT’s ?Inside the NBA? show: former Houston Rockets player Kenny Smith and sportscaster Ernie Johnson Jr.

The video showed Shaq being unable to control his laughter after Barkley said, ?I would love to sit on top of the Monster,? in an aggressive Boston accent. While the context of Barkley?s statement was something else, O?Neal and Smith took it as a statement with two meanings. This is not something that has happened for the first time.

In April, Charles Barkley signed a deal with CNN. This will allow him to co-host a Prime Time show along with TV Personality Gayle King. As of this moment, it?s unknown whether Sir Charles will be managing his time between both the jobs. If not, then he will have to finally say goodbye to TNT after 23 years.

The two posts serve as an indication that Dr Shaq can?t wait to get into action along with his co-hosts/friends. On the other hand, it can be Shaq?s way of remembering his brother-in-arms by doing what he does best.
