#BIGCHICKENFRIDAY is on fire! One of Las Vegas’ favorite musicians and food bloggers hit up Big Chicken Shaq for a delicious review. Joshy Singer or Singa’s 4014 is a fraction of Shaquille O’Neal’s 34.3. million followers. However, he’s adored in Las Vegas and the sandwich mogul is grateful for the spotlight on his restaurant.
Shaq shared Singa’s Reel on his Stories with the #BIGCHICKENFRIDAY hashtag. From the looks of it, the heavy metal musician had a great time in the NBA legend’s restaurant. Singa put a little warning in his post’s caption. “Places to check out in Vegas: @bigchickenshaq edition. Those who fear deliciousness, beware.” He was immediately fascinated by the ambiance, particularly the marquee with Shaq’s line, “Can you dig it?”
The deliciousness he warned about was the Shaq Attack sandwich with pepper jack cheese, jalapeno slaw, and spicy chipotle BBQ sauce he feasted on. He also seemed to have tried Big and Sloppy, formerly dedicated to Shaq’s friend Charles Barkley, which has a generous serving of mac and cheese inside. Singa had a big and sloppy time eating the sandwiches and highly recommended it to his followers.

After running Papa John’s and Krispy Kreme franchises for years, O’Neal launched his own dining chain with Big Chicken Shaq in 2018. Loaded with nostalgia-heavy recipes of his favorite meals, the first locations opened in Las Vegas and were Shaq-owned. The Las Vegas restaurant was also front and center of the Facebook reality series based on the launch.
After more Shaq-owned locations across the country, O’Neal and his business partners brought in Josh Halpern to lead Big Chicken into the franchising business in 2021. An estimated 300+ locations are in development nationwide and many are slated to open this year. Recently, several franchises went all out to celebrate O’Neal’s birthday on March 6 too.
