As soon as Green was on the scene, he put his opponent Rudy Gobert in a chokehold. Other players, coaches, and referees followed to stop the fight. Despite numerous requests from head coach Steve Kerr, Green kept his arms tightly wrapped around the French player.
Fans and legends quickly shared their takes on the matter. Soon, the league was asked to suspend Green. However, Paul Pierce supported and praised the player.
