Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman’s 22-year-old son signed a new deal with Crocs. DJ Rodman, who currently plays for USC, is already making big moves for himself. By curating customized social content for the brand, Crocs has tapped the right talents in DJ and 5 other athletes from the worlds of gymnastics and basketball.

DJ Rodman posted a new Crocs campaign featuring himself. Junior Rodman captioned the post, “Nothing beats the comfort and style of the new @Crocs Echo Storm” and confirmed that he is the new Crocs ambassador.  In the campaign video, Rodman said, “I want to stand out in a way that no one else feels comfortable doing. I think Crocs really represent myself, that’s why I love them. They’re my favorite shoe, hands down.”

DJ Rodman, shortly after the signing, expressed his appreciation for the staple value that the brand is most known for,  “I wanted to work with Crocs because I love them. I think they are the most effortless comfortable shoe.”

At a time when an Opendorse report suggested only 22.9% of NIL compensation goes to women’s sports athletes, Crocs came up with a roster that has equal representation of both genders.

The brand’s 2024 NIL class has a diverse roster of six of the best athletes in the country, including Frederick Richard (Gymnastics) from the University of Michigan, Janiah Barker (Basketball) from Texas A&M, Jared McCain (Basketball) from Duke University, Mackenzie Mgbako (Basketball) from the Indiana University, DJ Rodman (Basketball) from the University of Southern California, and Grace McCallum (Gymnastics) from the University of Utah.

In 2023, the NBA worked with Crocs to release two special-edition clogs to celebrate the annual exhibitions. The lineup included the Mega Crush Clog as well as the footwear company’s newest silhouette, the Echo Clog.

The NBA All-Star Mega Crush Clog featured a pattern print of NBA team logos on the white uppers, signifying the coming together of the league for the event. The strap bolt was seen as a metallic gold basketball logo and heel straps feature extra perforations for Jibbitz attachments. Rounding out the look are double-stacked elevated midsoles and treaded gum outsoles.

Designed to keep “streetwear at its core,” the special-edition Echo Clogs arrived in similar details across its lightweight, buoyant uppers. Bearing a slimmer profile, the pairs introduced a rotating nylon velcro strap on the heel, literide slide-in footbeds, and dual-density Cross-lite soles. Both pairs come with both NBA logoman attachments and All-Star Jibbitz charms. The NBA All-Star Clogs were available via the Crocs website and select global retailers. Prices ranged from $79.99 to $89.99.
