The final location for the 2025 NBA All-Star weekend is on the verge of confirmation. But before the decision is finalized, a little clip has resurfaced, reviving Charles Barkley’s beef with the potential host city of the 2025 event. The Inside the NBA?panelist’s comments were controversial, but he stood by pointing out a major issue. If the All-Star game is a done deal, Barkley might have to return to the place he has a very low opinion about with the TNT coverage.

The commentary has revived as the All-Star game venue is gaining more attention with the latest update. However, when Barkley put it across last year, it was harsher than fans could digest.

The Golden State Warriors are in discussion with the NBA to host the 2025 NBA All-Star Game at Chase Center. If the $1.6 billion worth venue is finalized, it would be the first time San Francisco would host the All-Star weekend. But 11-time All-Star Charles Barkley might be dreading it.

Barkley has never held back his opinions on the Warriors, their fans, and San Francisco. During a broadcast of NBA on TNT?in 2o22, Barkley used the weather to poke the city. “The only bad thing about all this rain? It’s not raining in San Francisco to clean up those dirty a** streets they got there.”

These comments came when rain impacted Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals last year. The video of?“Charles Barkley roasting on San Francisco,” has resurfaced in response to one tweet that called out the city.?Though his comments were harsh last year, fans find it relevant now.

Charles Barkley’s beef with the Warriors

The Round Mound of Rebound?owns his opinions with panache. He’s complained about the heat in Arizona where he has resided since 1992. He’s also picked on his alma mater’s rival fans for criticizing his favorite football coach. But his animosity with San Francisco and Dub Nation goes way back.

Barkley has long since dismissed any championship hopes for the Warriors. He’s had mean back-and-forths with Warriors fans and often referred to the city as “hell”.
