Throughout his days as a dominant NBA player and his role as a TV analyst on Inside the NBA, Charles Barkley has always tried to back up his words. And that has spilled over to his betting habits as well. The betting career of Barkley is far from flawless, though. In the last 12 years, he claims to have lost between $50 million and $60 million. The 60-year-old has a problem with gambling, but since he can afford to bet, he doesn’t see it as an issue. However, for now, he seems to be more invested in his favorite band’s last tour.

Who is the Chuckster’s favorite band? Let’s find out.

Barkley is a passionate and devoted Eagles fan. The Eagles are a rock band from the United States that made their debut in 1972 with an album of the same name as their group. Barkley was born in 1963; therefore, it seems to make sense that the Eagles influenced his early years in Leeds, Alabama. Charles Barkley will visit his favorite band for the 45th time and probably the last time.

Barkley stated, “You know my favorite band in the world is The Eagles, and I got a group of some of my boys, and we are going to see The Eagles tonight. So I’m really pumped about the concert. I have been with the Eagles for 30 years; they are my favorites. Public Enemy is my favorite rap group, but this is my favorite generational band.”

As this will be the Eagles’ final concert, Barkley expressed his excitement at seeing them one last time with a few of his pals. Charles Barkley was the subject of an Eagles song once. The late Glenn Frey led the ensemble, and they introduced “Sin Wagon,” telling the crowd it was a song dedicated to Barkley. The band dubbed him a fellow “bad boy“.

Even if everything goes wrong, the NBA Hall of Famer will still enjoy his evening at the Eagles performance with his friends since he is a wealthy guy. Charles previously said that the NBA is seeing an excessive amount of growth in the betting industry, with the NFL being the King Kong of betting.

Charles talked about his disappointments after joining the betting angle. He lost patience with the Florida Gators and Texas A&M after two pushes. Rutgers saved him, and he then placed bets on the Missouri Tigers and Oklahoma State.

And finally, he switched to the Trojans to win, even though the Trojans lost the game against Washington. He expected to return with the Trojans. Given Barkley’s history of wagering on games, it is not shocking that he placed all of his money on the Trojans. They had an edge because they were playing at home and had a talented squad against Washington.

Even though the USC Trojans didn’t win, of course, if they did, he’d be glad to cash in on his wager. Now he’ll just enjoy his final favorite band’s concert with his friends.
