Charles Barkley Forces Piercing Truth On “Sexy Number 9” Shaquille O’Neal After TNT Beard Debacle

The mood at TNT was a tad hairy. Or the lack thereof. It wasn’t just enough to go after Shaquille O’Neal being named one of the sexiest men without a strand of hair. They had to go after Kenny Smith too. In a panel where Ernie Johnson is outnumbered for having a full mop of hair, they couldn’t get over O’Neal’s new title. The bald-headed beauty too spent the ad breaks sending out reminders.

Since being ranked in a top 10 sexy list has made Shaq’s smooth head bigger, Charles Barkley had to humble him. He stepped up to defend Kenny’s honor while he was at it.

In case you missed the news, Shaquille O’Neal is giving out timely reminders while he’s on a live broadcast. He’s ranked No.9 on the Sexiest Bald Men list released by Reboot, eight spots away from winner Prince William. While the TNT crew roasts his new rank on air, Shaq declared, “my new name is SEXY NUMBER 9.” 

Mr. Sexy Number 9 was ready to take Kenny Smith down with him. Those who watched the NBA on TNT coverage today, The Jet’s face is looking a little neat. Not a look we’re used to from Kenny. Shaq interrupted a live discussion to highlight Kenny’s half-beard to the camera while getting a closer look.

Charles Barkley wouldn’t stand for any Kenny slander. He shut down O’Neal and shrunk his big (bald) head by going after his new title. “Sexy in South Africa but Ugly as hell in Atlanta.” For reference, the list appeared on TNT courtesy of GQ South Africa. It gave the ‘Keep Shaq Humble’ squad fodder to tease him repeatedly.

Fans though were on Shaq’s side. There were some jokes about Kenny filling in his beard with a sharpie after Big Diesel’s joke. Chuck was once again defending Kenny by telling them to “Give him two weeks,” to grow the beard back.

Despite the shameless attempt to drag Kenny with him, Shaq’s new title was the running theme today. This is one event his friends won’t let him live it down.

Inside Crew have a problem with bald list

The top 10 sexiest bald men list has bared out emotions in different corners of social media. Fans agree and disagree with a lot of names. The Inside Guys are still in disbelief one of their own is on there.

Ernie Johnson congratulated Shaq before asking, “How much did you pay to get on that list?” But Reboot, the marketing agency behind the list, compiled it based on a study of Google searches. Even $400 million-rich Shaq can’t rig that. If he could, he would’ve forced Samuel L. Jackson out of No.4 position.
