The couple met in 1978 at Michigan State University and have been together ever since. After dating for over a decade, the two tied the knot in the year 1991. The couple have been married for 30 years and share two children. As the 12-time NBA All-Star player celebrates his 64th birthday, his wife Cookie took to her Instagram to share a heartwarming birthday message, a reminder of their love and persistence.

The philanthropist shared a clip from Johnson’s 64th early birthday celebrations and dinner. She took to her Instagram to share the clip and penned down an adorable message along with it.

The message reads, “Happy Birthday my love! I love the way you enjoy life, and I am so happy to be on this journey with you. I pray the lord has favor on you today and every day. Love you always and forever.” 

In the video, the couple looked in high spirits as they posed for photographs. The clip is from their luxurious yacht trip. Every year, the couple set out for an adventurous trip. The staff of the Phoenix 2 worth a whopping $15 million ensured that the legend and his wife had the best early birthday celebrations.
