The post featured lyrics to Cardi B’s song “Enough (Miami),” which included a mention of Bryant. Although Vanessa didn’t explicitly mention Kobe in her post, fans were quick to connect the dots.
Cardi B, noticing this, took to her social media to express her appreciation for Vanessa’s gesture. In a since-deleted story, Cardi reportedly said she was honored that her music was associated with Kobe’s memory. She wrote, “Ommmmmggggggg I’m gaggin…this made me soooo happy. I’m glad Mrs. Big Bryant like the line.”

After Bryant, his daughter Gigi, and 9 others passed away in a terrible helicopter crash, Cardi was one of the first celebrities to react to the heartbreaking news. She tweeted, “F****n terrible.” In an interview with 9Mag TV a few days after that, she opened up on how emotional she had been.
She said, “I don’t know what’s been going on with me lately but I’ve been emotional. A lot of things been making me tear, especially on social media lately has been making me cry a lot. With the Kobe Bryant passing, I see a post, I just start tearing.“

Clearly, the mother of 2 was hurt by Kobe’s passing, as most of the world was. Her getting a stamp of approval from Vanessa Bryant must have made her jump with joy.
