‘The Flash’ in his prime out-dueled almost all his opponents, which is the reason why he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame tonight. On this special occasion, you must know someone who Wade feared. Before teaming up in 2012, Wade publicly revealed why he hated the 2x champion, Ray Allen.?
41-year-old Wade has never feared any defender but he feared guarding Allen. In an interview a few months back, the Miami Heat legend revealed, “I always go with guys like (Ray) Allen and Rip Hamilton… I hated guarding those dudes…I hated guarding Ray, just guys like that, you know, move that constantly.”?

Considered one of the greatest shooters of all time, Ray Allen has made an entry to the special night with his Hall of Fame jacket. When asked what it takes to make it to the HOF, the 48-year-old shared, “It’s about fearing people on the basketball court”.?Allen’s game-tying three in 2013 to win his second championship is proof of it.?

According to the 2018 Hall of Fame inductee, it’s not about becoming famous, but it’s about “bringing people to their feet”. Allen added, “If you do that over and over again enough, the consistency of time…able to be accountable to your teammates and your city, this is where it leads you.” Finishing his career with 2973 made shots from behind the arc, Allen has indeed feared his opponents over and over again.?
