For years, Shaquille O’Neal has been a big fan of the fighting world. Whether it be MMA, boxing, or even wrestling, the big man never misses anything. So, to find out that one of the greatest fighters ever behaved highly inappropriately surely came as a shock for him.

They say, never meet your heroes or you will be disappointed. Finding out about the legendary fighter from one of his biggest ‘rivals’?- well, that just made it infinitely worse for Shaq.

Mike Tyson was a menace at Charles Barkley’s party

Appearing on the Kelce brothers’ podcast, Charles Barkley of the Philadelphia 76ers left everyone stunned with his anecdote. Speaking about the time when Mike Tyson was a close neighbor, Barkley detailed an eyebrow-raising story. At one of Charles’ parties, Tyson rubbed people the wrong way. The primary reason? His dalliance with the women at the event. Never one to mince words, Barkley laid it all bare.

“Mike Tyson was actually one of my neighbors up the streets.” Continuing, the Chuckster went into detail about the hilarious incident, “So, I have a New Year’s Eve party every year. I rent out a restaurant, invite about 30,40,50 people… Just everybody come have fun. So, Mike Tyson comes one year,?and, like, the guy comes with the Bullhorn.”

The Kelces were already on board with the story. But the best was yet to come, “I’m like we’re all famous here. It’s no big deal that the champ is here.” While both brothers broke into fits, Barkley carried on, “So about 2 hours into the party, 3 or 4 husbands come up to me and says, ‘Yo man, you gotta do something about Mike… He grabbing our wives by the a**'” [sic]

While initially skeptical, the Phoenix Suns legend eventually worked up the courage to go talk to Mike. “I say, ‘Hey Mike, there’s only a couple of women here who are single, not that you should be grabbing their a**es either.'”

Mike immediately acquiesced.? However, the story doesn’t end there.

Unfortunately for Chuck, the story didn’t end there. As he reports, “About 30 minutes later, I smell pot. Yo man, who in the hell is smoking pot over here? It’s Mike over here in a corner. So,?I go over there and I’m like, ‘Mike I know I rented out the restaurant but it’s actually somebody’s restaurant. You can’t smoke.'”

Again, Tyson immediately relented. However, 30 minutes later, as Charles continued, he was out in front of the restaurant, continuing smoking. Thankfully, he didn’t invite Charles, who might have been berated for his cigarette etiquette again.
