Terence Crawford was winning praise across all sports recently for his standup sportsmanship following his dominant win against Errol Spence Jr. Shaquille O’Neal didn’t hold back his admiration for Crawford. In fact, O’Neal is known to follow Bud’s matches closely.

Now ‘The Hunter’ could be getting his gloves on for another fight. Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is enticing him into another match and Crawford may lean towards the challenge. Crawford initially laid the condition he’d fight Canelo at a catchweight of 158-60 lbs. He weighs 146 3/4 lbs and previously claimed he wouldn’t fight any higher than 154 lbs.

Shaq shared the post from a boxing Instagram page about Crawford’s terms on his Instagram Stories. He hasn’t provided context but it’s clear that the 4x NBA champion is invested.

Even before ‘the Bud’ and ‘The Truth’ met in the ring, O’Neal was excited about this match. He was so obsessed, he wanted more people to watch it. He even offered to take retired NFL pro, Spice Adams to the match. But at that time, the Hall of Famer was putting his money on Spence. Previously billed for a 50/50 match, Crawford earned a dominant victory over Spence. His outstanding sportsmanship has now made him Shaq’s favorite at least.

Now Crawford told Joe Rogan that he doesn’t care about weight. He is considering 168 lbs for his next fight. But first, Crawford is holding any confirmation till the September 30 bout between Canelo and Jermell Charlo. Bud wants to fight the winner of this match. So he’ll be keeping a close eye ringside.
