NBA legend Michael Jordan is considered not only the GOAT of the NBA but also one of the best athletes ever. Over the course of his playing career, Jordan won every accolade there is as he dominated his opponents. At the top of his game, MJ shocked everyone when he retired from the NBA after a three-peat. However, he came back and did the unthinkable with the Chicago Bulls: win three straight titles again. A luxury brand recently put one of Jordan’s jerseys from the iconic Last Dance on display.

Jordan played for the Washington Wizards after his second retirement. However, it is often brushed away because of the lack of team success. On the other hand, his second stint with the Bulls is considered legendary.

The Last Dance

Michael Jordan, some of his teammates, and head coach Phil Jackson were at a stalemate with the Bulls front office in 1997. The management wanted to rebuild as Jordan was aging and they were not interested in renewing Jackson’s contract, either. Notably, General Manager Jerome Krause did not have a good relationship with MJ, Scottie Pippen, Jackson, and so forth.

However, MJ wanted the front office to give the squad a shot at the three-peat. Coupled with the enormous amount of pressure from fans, the management decided to keep the team together for one more year. Hence the name, Last Dance. As His Airness believed, the Bulls once again defeated everyone and clinched the championship.
