The Hall of Ceremony is one of the most prestigious nights in an NBA player’s life. While they accumulate accolades throughout their career, no single night is more of a celebration of their entire journey. So, naturally, you’d want your closest friends around for the occasion. As a result, the absence of one LeBron James from his?brother?Dwyane Wade‘s ceremonial night left one NBA analyst perplexed.

Of course, there was a perfectly valid explanation. However, in his tangential hate, the noted critic chose to ignore it, thereby provoking the NBA fanbase.

Where was LeBron James during HoF Ceremony?

Throughout his career, James has made a ton of enemies. Due to the very nature of basketball as a competitive sport, rivalries are an unavoidable by-product. However, Bron’s most notable rival remains the one off the court.

From his days with the Cleveland Cavaliers through to the Miami Heat, and even today, the 4-time Champion has faced constant, and oftentimes unwarranted,?hate?from Skip Bayless. Still, his outlandish takes and comments are usually reserved for the basketball court.

This time, though, perhaps, the veteran Fox Sports analyst took it too far. “I have no idea why LeBron James was not at Dwyane Wade’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony or his afterparty. This was, of course, last Saturday in Springfield, Massachusetts.”

Notably, the two legends have long shared a close bond, often describing the other as a best friend and brother. Together, they won 2 Championships with the Miami Heat in a string of 4 straight Finals appearances. “I am 99.9% sure LeBron was not there and that shocked me…I thought LeBron and D-Wade were extremely close as in big brother, little brother close…Everybody was there except for LeBron. Did anybody out there find that weird or bizarre? LeBron James is the most protected athlete in the history of the sports.”?

However, fans were having none of Bayless’ usual banter. Instead, they ruthlessly turned to the comments to explain the rather obvious reason.

In case somebody didn’t know, LeBron James’ son, Bronny, who’s preparing for his collegiate career and hopes to make it to the NBA suffered a scary accident. During warmups at his recently chosen USC, James fainted. The eventual diagnosis revealed a cardiac arrest. While he’s safe now, James has, of course, chosen to spend added time with his family.

Fans were quick to remind Bayless of the fact. “So we are going to act like Lebron’s son didn’t just nearly die. This man [Skip Bayless] is a sick individual. I actually feel sorry for him.”?

Another mocked Bayless, stating, “Maybe because his son nearly died Skip? Now that?s something that isn?t really being covered.”?

Another fan upped the sarcasm in their response. “His son just had a life-threatening heart condition? he probably wants to spend time with his kids like a normal parent after something like that happening.”?

One fan, fully explained the entire reasoning: “Acting like LeBron’s son didn’t just almost die is wild. LeBron knows going to an event like that, there would be tons of cameras in his face asking about Bronny. He’s not ready to talk about that. Furthermore, it would take the spotlight away from the other Hall of Famers. I understand why he was not there. These were probably the reasons.”?

A longtime watcher was even quick to call out Skip’s hypocrisy. “I?m old enough to remember you criticizing LeBron for being to much in the camera and stealing the show at dwade last game in Brooklyn, now it?s a problem with him not being at the hof ceremony”?

While the reasons for James not attending the ceremony seem obvious, Skip lost his debate partner to his old show to remind him of the facts. Maybe, Bayless’ obsession can calm down after this latest incident.
