Scottie Pippen Returns to USA After Seeking New Long-Standing Relationship in Mexico Outing

While his ex-wife could be marrying into a former friend’s family, Scottie Pippen is escaping the drama to a sunny getaway. The six-time NBA champion was in Mexico looking like he was living his best life. It seems like nothing about his ex-wife and his ex-teammate could bother him on his exotic work trip. Instead, he’s focusing on the finer things and the partnerships that come along with it.

Pippen exuded all those vacation vibes on Instagram while giving an update on himself.

Thursday night’s game between the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic was across the border in Mexico, where more than a few famous names were spotted in their vacation mode. Someone who made headlines seated courtside at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico was none other than Scottie Pippen. The former Chicago Bulls star was in Mexico City for work, which was not a drag.

The Pip was promoting Michelob ULTRA, the Anheuser-Busch-owned beer brand in Mexico City. The NBA game was one of the few events he was spotted at there. Other than his $1000 Givenchy hoodie, his sunny vibe was also noticeable.

He thanked the people who flew him out there while revealing his extended partnership with Michelob ULTRA. “Thank you Michelob Ultra for having me coming to Mexico City. Had a great time and looking forward to this longstanding relationship,” he said on his Instagram Stories ahead of his return to the USA.

He complemented it with a similar gratitude-filled statement in a separate post. “Thanks for having me in Mexico City @MichelobUltraMx #MichelobUltraMX was a great experience,” he wrote along with pictures of him sporting a special jersey by the brand and his NBA career number #33.

Pippen has been a favorite of Michelob ULTRA for years. He’s previously hosted events, including a virtual workout for the brand during the 2020 shutdown. Under their umbrella, the Pip has been instrumental as a global ambassador repping the NBA. He hinted that this partnership is going to remain “long-standing” with more to come from them.

Pippen is clearly unaffected by the goings-on back home regarding his ex-wife. Larsa Pippen has been hinting that she’s closer to a wedding with Michael Jordan’s son. That is far from Scottie’s mind, it appears.

Fans were quick to note that Pippen was rather chill on his Mexican getaway. Meanwhile, his ex-wife is back on the Real Housewives of Miami?with her younger beau, Marcus Jordan. They’ve been at the center of marriage rumors fueled by Marcus mostly since Larsa was spotted with a “promise ring“.

Larsa recently confessed that she was open to marriage once again. Her marriage to Scottie lasted from 1997 to 2021, with periods of separation and reconciliation in between. Despite the bitterness, she is seemingly eager to take the plunge with Marcus. The marriage rumors aren’t sitting well with many who are picking Michael Jordan’s side in the ongoing feud with Scottie.
