Mark Zuckerberg?s new Meta platform is already gaining momentum. Various celebrities and known NBA personalities joined ?Threads? in its first week. Amongst them is 4-time NBA champion Shaquille O?Neal. As a prolific entertainer, it only made sense that Shaq would take to the new platform. But his comments on there have been particularly interesting. He wrote about his “fellas” and left his fans feeling emotional.

The former player recently took to the new social media site to remember someone who may be leaving his side for a new opportunity.

Since his retirement, Shaq has been a member of TNT?s ?Inside the NBA? show. Alongside him as co-hosts are former 76ers player Charles Barkley, former Houston Rockets player Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, and iconic sportscaster Ernie Johnson Jr.

A few hours ago, Shaq posted a video on Threads with the caption ?dam i miss the fellas.?

The video showed a segment the crew did after Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It featured a discussion between the four members where Barkley took up an aggressive Boston accent and said, ?I would love to sit on top of the Monster.?

His comment was in reference to the Green Monster wall located on the left field side at Fenway Park, which Barkley claims to have never visited. But of, course, the way that the comment was made and the double innuendo behind it made Shaquille erupt into laughter.

Shaq couldn?t control it even when Johnson was questioning Barkley. ?What do you want to sit on, Chuck?? said O?Neal, while still trying to control his laughter. Kenny Smith shared the 51-year-old?s amusement, describing the incident in the end as ?just a viral moment waiting to happen.?

This is not the first time that Charles has made use of double-meaning words, or the first time he was roasted for it by his colleagues. Barkley being unaware of what he says sometimes has been a constant source of entertainment. However, that source of entertainment might well be on its way to a different network.

Will King Charles leave TNT for good?

Shaquille O?Neal shared the video just as speculation arose about Barkley’s future with TNT.

Fans wish nothing but happiness and success for Sir Charles. However, they would not be happy if it came at the expense of losing one of the most iconic duos in the NBA.
