With Carmelo Anthony hanging up his jersey earlier this year, it is now up to his son, Kiyan Anthony, to continue his legacy. Even before the teenager graduates from high school, he has already received offers from numerous universities. Since then, both Carmelo and Kiyan have gone on to visit Florida State University and Syracuse University, which currently seem like the frontrunners to land Anthony Jr.
Although, Kiyan Anthony has received an offer from Carmelo’s alma mater, the New York Knicks legend recently revealed that his son has yet to decide on which university he would play for. Hoping for his son to make the right choice, Melo tried to enchant good fortune for his son with a handful of words.

During a recent episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero made an appearance to promote their new podcast. During their conversation, Meyers asked Carmelo about his son, who is still playing in high school, and if he had decided on which university he was going to commit to.
After saying that Kiyan has not decided anything as of now, the 10x All-Star said, “He will make his own choice.” And he went on to say that four more times, hoping that the teenager would make the right choice.
Following his time at Syracuse University and the legacy that he has left there, Carmelo Anthony might be inclined towards his son joining his alma mater. But only time will tell, as Kiyan is still 16 years old and will only graduate from high school in 2025.
