Amid Havoc Warning to David Beckham’s Inter Miami, Shaquille O’Neal’ Tempts Bidders With Exclusive Access to Soccer Legend

Shaquille O’Neal has never held back when giving back to the community. The Los Angeles Lakers legend always tried to make other people’s lives better. In his pursuit of doing so, Shaquille O’Neal recently held his annual fundraising gala. Funny enough, the event is named ‘The Event”. It was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The focus of the event was to raise funds for the Shaquille O’Neal Foundation. There was a live auction during the event with items and experiences that went for tens of thousands of dollars.

To make this year special, he had various items for the live auction that was held before the private dinner. This included experience packages. There was one where you could spend a Saturday with Shaquille O’Neal in his house.

But what intrigued people was the item that included two legends in their own industry. An experience of golfing with Mark Wahlberg and watching the Inter Miami soccer game with David Beckham The item went for $40,000.

According to People, Shaq spent his own money as well on the auction and bought a $20,000 seat for his mom to sit on stage for the live concert held later. He also spent $50,000 on a vacation to Bora Bora.

It is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a lot of people to be with Beckham and Wahlberg. And for the people who spent their money, it’s all for a good cause. But things are looking grim for Inter Miami as Messi has been absent for some time now.

Inter Miami might be heading into trouble

Lionel Messi has been ruled out of games in MLS after the injury he suffered against Bolivia in the World Cup qualifier. If Messi does not play in the upcoming Miami game and then he gets cleared for the Argentina game, it could mean trouble for Inter Miami. Miami has used the star power of Messi to raise the ticket prices for the games.

But even with Messi out of the picture, they are still at the same price. If Messi does not show up for future MLS games but plays in his own country, then people will undoubtedly notice his true loyalty. Now let’s wait and see if Messi will be back in the MLS by the time the event of spending a match with David Beckham happens.
