Danny Rouhier from Grant and Danny was once invited to Inside the NBA to perform an impersonation of the Philadelphia 76ers legend. Fast forward to the present, when Kenny Smith, Barkley’s co-host and close friend, reconnected with the team for a special segment, Rouhier asked him about his impersonation. Surprisingly, Smith still remembered his performance and applauded him.

As fans previously hilariously noted, Rouhier’s portrayal of Barkley is remarkably on point, and now, he’s even earned the approval of the legend’s friend. Reflecting on Rouhier’s impersonation from two years ago, Smith remarked, “I remember that, and you did a great job!” He went on to add, ?It?s an inflection on certain words, and if you close your eyes, it?s great! It?s not really what you?re saying, it?s that extra inflection and timing. Good job brother!?

Rouhier didn’t limit his impersonations to just Chuck. He even skillfully mimicked Barkley’s best friend, Shaquille O’Neal.
