After Sending Stern Word of Caution, 62-LBS Lighter Charles Barkley Was Spotted Flexing His Ever Improving Skill as Per Reports

Charles Barkley became a household name after his 16-year career in the NBA. Apart from his talents on the court, he has also dipped his feet into other endeavors, such as being an analyst on TV. But what Charles likes to do a lot during his free time is being on the golf course. Although he had the reputation of having one of the worst swings in golf, the Philadelphia 76ers legend has been spending time on the green to get better.

Despite being short for his position, Barkley’s relentless work ethic made him succeed in the NBA. Do you think the same can happen if he puts his mind on the golf course? Well, months after losing a lot of weight, Chuck was recently spotted at a luxury course.

A slimmed down Charles Barkley was back at the golf course

On October 6th, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley was seen at the Nine-O-Two on the Avenue in Sheboygan. The Nine-O-Two is a bar and grill place with a great ambiance that gives a cozy small-town feel to visitors. Barkley took pictures with everyone at the establishment. He looked extremely different from how he used to be. Notably, he has lost around 62 LBS this year.

Later, the owner of Nine-O-Two on the Avenue revealed to WISN12 that she heard Charles Barkley had been golfing at the famous Whistling Straits before coming to Sheboygan. Whistling Straits is a luxury golf resort in Wisconsin, only 7 miles away from Sheboygan.

The course is separated into the Irish course and the Straits course. In 2021, the Ryder Cup was held on the Straits course, and the USA came out on top against Europe. But after the USA’s loss in 2023, Barkley did not hold back on his comments about both teams and issued his warning for Europe.

Barkley issues warnings for Team Europe for 2025

Over the last 10 years, the host country has won the Ryder Cup. In 2023, it was held in Italy, and the winner was Europe.

After the tournament, Barkley said, “Congratulations to Europe. They were the better team. You always reward the winners. We did not play very well obviously”.?

Barkley had more hope for Team USA. He then went on to say that it’s extremely difficult to win on the opponent’s soil, so the next time it is held in the United States, it will be tough for Europe. The 2025 Ryder Cup is scheduled to be held in New York.

Barkley challenged European golf star Rory Mcllroy and said that he was going to have a tough time facing the Americans in New York.
